• Gameplay activity: guesses and game history. Used to power in-game features and analytics.

• Optional integrations: If you sign in via Google (OAuth2), we receive only the profile details you choose to share.

How we use your information

• Authenticate you and secure account access with JWT-based sessions.
• Deliver core gameplay: process questions, guesses, and AI responses.
• Send transactional emails and account notifications via our email provider (for example, services like SendGrid).
• Maintain security: rate limiting (Bucket4j), bot detection (reCAPTCHA), and auditing.
• Monitor performance and errors through error monitoring and logging tools (for example, services like Sentry and GitHub Actions).

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies to understand engagement and support the free version of the game.

Analytics may be provided by privacy-focused tools and/or Google Analytics. Advertising and ad personalization may be provided by partners such as Google AdSense. These services may set their own cookies and collect information about your device, IP address, and how you interact with the site in order to measure usage and show relevant ads.

You can manage consent via the cookie banner at the bottom of the site. Blocking non-essential cookies may limit certain features but should not prevent core gameplay.

Children's privacy

Anime Guess Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
